An amazing adventure: bicycling in Laos from Pak Beng, a sand path with guesthouses, along valleys and paddies to Muang Houn. On to Luang Prabang, with over 60 temples. Via the karst mountains and caves of Vang Vieng to Vientane, the modest capital on the Mekong River.

I thoroughly enjoyed this article. Laos is a country about whose existence few know and even fewer think about visiting it.
can I ask you smth.. "Entrance is free. So what does one do, being Dutch?"- are you trying to suggest that Dutch people are very stingy?
