Norwegian New Year
Submitted by roxy on 2006-12-11 23:32:14 (via www.indiatravelogue.com)
Norway is my favorite winter country since I visited it in 2005. Reading this article gave me the feeling I never left that place, and I’m still hanging out skiing, having an amazing Norwegian breakfast and most of all – spending New Year with the great, friendly, Norwegian people. No matter how far away from home you are, you feel welcomed there…   More...

Submitted by christine on 2006-11-21 01:42:01 (via www.adventureliving.com)
I think I had lunch in every place you could think of, but reading this article made me realize I’ve never eaten from the arms of a glacier! I found this story interesting, and I’m surprised to discover Norway as a great place for hiking, trekking, and of course ice climbing. The fjords are amazing, too. Bon appetite when reading this travelogue!   More...

Oooooo! This is a great description of a formidable visit to France, including the splitting and roasting of a whole pig. Ha-Ha!!! With lots of fun and good quality pictures, BTW. A completely different lifestyle and culture.

Lake Garda - Italy's secret holiday paradise
Submitted by carolyn on 2010-03-19 04:09:45 (via www.holidaystoeurope.com.au)
When most Australians or Americans plan a holiday to Italy, the cities of Rome, Florence, Pisa and Venice usually head up their list of must-see places to visit. Suggest Lake Garda, or Lago di Garda, (as it’s known in Italian) to them, and they will probably look at you in bewilderment.
