Beirut, Lebanon - Not Quite the Paris of the Middle East

My wife and take a trip to Beirut to see the sights. We see the bullet holes but also the pockets of beauty. We also take a side trip to the ancient town of Byblos - a must see sight.

The Eden Valley is near to the Scottish Borders and Hadrian’s Wall to the North, the Dales National Park to the South and Keswick and Derwentwater to the West. A perfect location for a self catering holiday in a cottage.
